A place where students own their faith, connect with God and fellowship with each other.

Georgetown Student Ministry exists so students can grow and engage their beliefs alongside friends and leaders who care. It’s not just about the events, the hangouts, and fun (although we love all that here)—it’s about getting equipped and empowered for real life by owning your faith and connecting with God and each other. We’d love to see you here! Click here for upcoming events!

SUNDAY MORNING ELECTIVE @ 9:00AM

Middle & High School Students (5th-12th)

Meets upstairs in The Warehouse

During Sunday Morning Elective, we focus on getting to know our bible. At the start of the year, we went into the Torah (the first five books of the bible) and will be soon looking at the gospel. It's so important that we see the foundations that are built in the beginning of the bible. We start out each Sunday morning with some breakfast, some fellowship, and then move into small groups of 5th-6th grade, 7th-8th grade, and high school. These small groups allow time to read the scripture and apply it to their individual lives.

SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP @ 6:00-8:00PM

Middle & High School Students (5th-12th)

Meets in the Gym

Sunday nights are a time for students to interact with other students and learn more about their faith.  Big games, big worship, and a big message to impact their lives as they strive to impact those around them.  At the start of each meeting for games, food, fellowship and worship, we all gather together.  After the lesson, we separate into small groups of 5th-6th grade, 7th-8th grade, and high school for deeper topics.

GIRLS BIBLE STUDY

Wednesday Night at Rachel Byerly's House from 7:00-8:00.  This is a time where girls from 7th grade through high school get to know each other through prayer, devotion, and a good meal.

MISSION TRIP

Adventure Serve Mission Trip is a 7-day mission to the Appalachain mountains where we as a group work to repair a home and repair the heart in the home. This transformative week of tent camping, building, and adventure helps students make an impact in many lives. This year 2024, we will be going to Pinehaven in Montana for our mission trip. IMG_7643.JPG

DUBS

DUBS stands for Destination Unknown Bible Study.  During this week, incoming 6th grade through outgoing 8th grade students spend the week learning about God, learning about a mission throughout the community, serving in the community and having a blast learning about other believers.  Each morning, students have a devotional before leaving for a local mission.  While on an unknown destination mission (who knows, maybe the city dump), students eat a sack lunch and then go to an another unknown destination for some fun and fellowship. They might go to a water park or to Holiday World.

Summer Nights

Summer Nights happen every Sunday in August from 6:00-8:00. Swim parties, Nerf wars, movie nights, etc.  It's an opportunity to simply laugh and have fellowship with one another as we get back to the school life.  It's our annual "Back to School" party, but we have it for four weeks.

Summer Nights 2022 (2)

Throughout the year, we will go to concerts as they come up.  One of our favorites to attend is WinterJam.  We also do some Lock-ins throughout the year where we get to stay up all night and play late night games.
